Introduction:

Aloha is a high-end ex-designer deadstock fabric that came to us from a company that specialises in creating modern retro/vintage style clothing. 

Boasting the usual hard-wearing hand to most good-quality drills and twills, but this is no ordinary fabric (just look at that design!). This group of predominantly cotton fabrics are often used to make hard-wearing outerwear, from work-wear and utility clothing to super chic trench coats and all manner of clothing and accessories, through to useful homewares and soft furnishings. Colour:

Aloha is woven from fine yarns of natural white cotton. This hard-wearing base fabric is printed with the most vibrant and fun retro Hawaiian island paradise design featuring island beauties, beach paradises and flower garlands that spell out the word "Aloha". A colour palette of joyful fiery oranges, perfect peach, red, sunny yellow, vibrant green, sea blue and grey are all set against a dreamy turquoise sky backdrop. This oh-so-retro design is fearlessly fun! Perfect for brightening your summer wardrobe.

Properties:

Drills and twills are practical and hard-wearing thanks to a close weave construction with lightly raised diagonal ridges. Its fine twill weave, stable handle, (slight ease width-wise) mediumweight, reassuringly heavy drape and pleasing cotton feel make Aloha perfect for a plethora of hard-wearing fun and fab garments.

This fabric boasts excellent strength, stability and a versatile handle. It will drape well  (when used at length) and has a pleasing malleable hand, yet will hold crisp details such as collars and top-stitched panels: characteristic of jeans and utility styles.
