Badly constructed pattern

The pattern is printed at the wrong size. I was warned when I bought it that customers had complained that the bust was tight. I double checked everything except measuring the actual pattern itself - why would you? It turned out that my size actually constructed to the size smaller - exactly why everyone had complained about the bust size! I complained to Fabworks and the under manager accused me of being a crap sewer. I have consulted Trading Standards and they agreed with my understanding that the seller is responsible for the error. Fabworks owe me a return on my spending, or a replacement which is @ £60. And what have I got? Sweet........

Perfect dress design

I was so pleased to see this dress made up on an Instagram feed, I might have overlooked the design from the front of the pattern envelope. The pattern went together very well and was easy to make, it didn’t take long to put together. I narrowed the sleeves a little and lengthened it so that it is knee length for me. The front tucks give it a flattering shape and it is so comfortable to wear, I will definitely be making a few in different fabrics.
