This beautifully Stretch Polyester Dress Crepe - Slinky Khaki Taupe is exactly as its name suggests!
Slinky Khaki Taupe is a subtle khaki with taupe undertone: an excellent neutral colour that will work well with camel, olive, cream and browns. With a matt almost silk sheen that has the most amazing fluid drape, when held in any quantity over 1 metre it has an almost weighty drape.
This amazing crepe type fabric has the characteristic fine grainy texture of good dress crepe, but when examined closely is actually woven in a tiny herringbone weave. This makes Slinky Khaki Taupe strong and hardwearing with the reverse side being slightly darker than the face.
With slight widthwise stretch and good firm lengthwise stretch, making this sophisticated fabric is perfect for fitted or occasional dresses such as ball gowns, prom dresses and bridesmaid dresses. The weight is also perfect for jumpsuits, playsuits and drapey wrap dresses.
Don't forget this versatile fabric will also make stunning palazzo pants, long line flowing skirts, pleated peg style trousers, unlined kimono-style jackets, shrugs and boleros with long tie fronts, harem pants and culottes too!
