The name Classic Navy says it all, this is a rich dark blue, perfect for those who find black a little harsh, and always looks supersmart!
Properties:
Classic Navy is super soft, light as a feather, but not as light as voile. The superfine gauge cotton yarns which created this fabric are woven in a flat semi-translucent weave and have produced a soft malleable and drapey fabric which is also stable width and length-wise.
Garment Suggestions:
This fabric is perfectly suited for all manner of full-gathered styles. Use as a stand-alone fabric where the light translucence is the key feature. Navy fabrics never date and feminine floaty elegance always has a place in fashion cycles. The recent re-fashioning of '70s style prairie/ buffet dresses and blouses is a trend which doesn't seem to be losing popularity.
