Perfect Paisley Saphire is another superb jacquard woven fabric from the same origins as our fantastic Palms Jacquard collection. This is designer fabric at its best!
It's woven with a silky black sateen background, which showcases the matte sapphire paisley motifs perfectly. The addition of a fine over trellis (in black) adds textural interest. The opposite effect is visible on the reverse.
Boasting a light/medium weight handle that feels soft and slightly textured, Perfect Paisley Saphire has a wonderful drape that's accentuated by the expensive sheen.
Perfect Paisley Saphire is stable width and lengthwise and will make stunning statement pieces such as smart tuxedo type suits (women too, not just for men!), blazer style jackets (try using both sides for contrasting lapels etc), neat trousers and pants - slim fit/cigar style & capri pants, neat pencil skirts, sheath/slip dresses, evening gowns and smart occasion wear dresses, as well as fitted bodice skater style or longer skirted '50s style, drapey tulip style skirts & dresses and much more!

Shower Resistant: Sheep naturally produce a waxy substance called lanolin. As sheep live outdoors, this naturally occurring wax helps to protect sheep from the elements, naturally shedding water & keeping them dry. This same property is retained within the wool fibres when spun into yarn.
Moisture Absorbing: The moisture-retentive superpowers of wool! It’s hydrophilic core gives wool the ability to wick away moisture keeping you dry and comfortable – this possibly one of our favourite properties because you can stay fresh when wearing wool, from autumn right through to spring!
