Morris Golden Autumn Lily boasts an iconic historical (1899) design with a clever diagonal arrangement of Arts and Crafts style intertwining exotic florals. Tiger lilies entwine their elegant stems amongst tendrils, foliage and buds of other complementary-hued flowers in a rhythmic style all over this exquisitely soft cotton lawn. A palette of cool blue soft beige, mist grey, and lavender sit in juxtaposition with the warm coral, and red. A fresh white background provides the perfect backdrop for this iconic design.
Properties:
Seriously soft, finely woven, lightweight, yet with excellent opacity and good stability plus a soft and elegant drape quality. This fabric will gather, tuck, pleat and form elegant fullness. For crisp details like collars, cuffs and button bands we recommend the use of a light/medium weight iron on interfacing.

Stunning pattern and colours on a smooth fine base cloth. So far I have only yet used it as contrasting element on a shirt that has another main fabric, but I will be using the rest of the length I bought to make myself a blouse. Very much looking forward to that time! In the meantime here is the shirt (still in the making) with the beautiful highlights as you can see.
