Grinton Moorland Check - Yorkshire Tweed is a gorgeous all wool tweed. Manufactured in Huddersfield undergoing the same processes as our exclusive Heart of Huddersfield range. This fabric is not one of Fabworks' own exclusive designs.
Woven from a delightful blend of multi tonal yarns, this fabric is full of calming, natural tones, inspired by the breath-taking grouse-rich moorland above Grinton village in Richmondshire, North Yorkshire.
The intersecting bands of multi hued, grey-greens and beiges sit in perfect harmony with stunning berry purple. The combined hues emulate the colours of the wild moorlands with swathes of jewel toned heather,dried bracken and rugged grasslands, forming a pleasing natural palette with a relaxed country style.
