Soft powdery pastel blue-hued silken fine cotton yarns are closely packed together across the warp to form the base for classic natural white weft yarns. The combination of the two tones produces a wonderfully stylish blue tone with a lustrous, almost frosted sheen. This is a fabric with an air of self-assured style, designer quality, without the price tag.

Properties:

Wedgewood Blue boasts a stable handle, soft, yet crisp  cool cotton feel and soft drape quality with an almost taffeta-like lustre which will pleat, tuck and gather to form pretty ruffles and excellent fullness if required. This classic Italian shirt fabric will of course hold crisp details such as collars, cuffs and button bands, but there are a host of other things to make from this first-rate cotton poplin.
