Introduction:

Ticking is not only a satisfyingly sturdy striped fabric, this is authentic mattress ticking! Featuring a classic herringbone weave, ticking is classic French chic, equally suitable for home interiors or as a denim-like alternative for clothing. Ticking was traditionally used to cover mattresses because of its close weave making it super strong and hard-wearing and is more commonly used now for soft furnishings.

This 100% cotton herringbone weave sports the chicest stripes of alternating natural ecru and beautiful serene duck egg blue. A classic combination that will sit perfectly with all manner of styles, from natural linens, to fabrics wallcoverings and much more, giving an essentially natural country-inspired theme.

Duck Egg is seriously stable, sturdy and hard-wearing, with a lightly textured, classic cotton canvas-like handle, with the drape and feel of quality medium/heavy denim (or drill/twill).
