Introduction:

Crisp cotton poplin is a wonderfully versatile basic staple when it comes to fabrics.

 Properties:

A close flatweave produces a smooth untextured fabric that boasts a crisp and stable hand. The addition of a fire retardant treatment makes this fabric slightly crisper than untreated poplins and makes it perfect for upholstery projects when used as a base layer underneath the final face fabric, as one would use calico.

Uses:

Use Black Fire Retardant Poplin to make slipcovers for furniture protection, make fire retardant cushion inners, and add to your upholstery and soft furnishing fabric stash for a multitude of practical uses.

This utility furnishing fabric is ideal for use with soft furnishing, upholstery and craft projects.

This fabric is also available in a plain turquoise and a plain white colourway!

All images are taken using high-quality photography equipment. We are very keen to ensure that colour accuracy is the best we can get however, we do suggest ordering a sample first to make sure that this product is right for you.
If a sample (12cm x 20cm) is not sufficient, we suggest ordering 1 unit of 0.5m CUT LENGTH (half metre) for style ideas when planning new projects, wash testing & seeing a full pattern repeat
This fabric has been flame tested and found to be fire retardant, however, Fabworks does not have certification for this product. We recommend purchasing a sample to conduct your own tests prior to purchasing this fabric in bulk.
