Pima Cotton Lawn is new to Fabworks in Summer 2021. Considered a very high quality fabric originally made in South America, but finding it's way to all corners of the globe due to its excellent strength, breathability and amazingly soft feel and weight; akin to a lightweight silk. This is real luxury cotton.
Black Citrus Grove is a delightful Pima cotton lawn that features an all over printed ditsy design with classic appeal. Nature-inspired art & craft motifs, as favoured by Morris and Liberty, appear fresh and lively upon a striking black background. Its simple yet detailed print features tiny citrus-like fruits borne upon tiny sprigs of glossy fresh green leaves, with subtle tangerine, lemon and pink fruits that have a soft sorbet-like hue, complemented by pale pistachio green leaves. Outlines of white highlight and draw attention to this fresh design.
A versatile fabric that will hold crisp details such as: collars, facings and cuffs, forming the prettiest (full) gathers for flounces, ruffles and all those extra details!
This pretty pastiche has a very retro and vintage style, which is perfect for '40s styles and other retro makes, yet its perfectly put together palette means that it is equally suitable for sharp shirts and other lightweight cotton attire.
