Turkish Tiles - Cotton Sateen, is suitable for a wide range of seriously smart or smart/casual clothing with a designer pedigree. Originally made in Turkey for the same designer as our SOS collection. Equally stunning and perfect for your own bespoke makes.

A fabulous geometric tile-like design is printed onto first-class Turkish cotton sateen. Turkish Tiles has a smooth sateen weave base in a natural sandstone hue overprinted with rhythmic, interlocking rounded motifs in a classic navy. The intricate tiled areas are infilled with ironstone - dark red to create an authentic antique tiled design worthy of the Topkapi Palace in Turkey.

Turkish Tiles is a medium/fine cotton with a soft drape that will pleat, gather and tuck should you need. This natural fabric will hold crisp collars, cuffs and pocket flaps making it ideal for a plethora of varied styles of apparel.

We think this designer fabric will make excellent shirt dresses, tunics, light weight-Cigarette style trousers, matching blazers and neat pinafore dresses and pencil skirts. Add one of our SOS fabrics to create the perfect lining and create crisp silhouettes by using iron-on interfacings to your collars, revers, waistbands etc.
