This superb blend is one for the monochrome fans out there who also want to try add a little colour!
A beautiful wool and silk fabric woven with a chunky yarn has the most amazing texture. Monochrome Wool and Silk is soft and breathable (that's the silk content), it has a classic look with a modern twist. A stable lengthwise and width wise handle, but plenty of bias stretch (use of interfacing is advised for tailored garments). Pops of orange, yellow, mint green, light and denim blue are all woven throughout in a fantastic textural check with an eyelash yarn to give a modern Chanel-themed look.
It would make up into the smartest Chanel-style jacket, try a matching pencil skirt too. Subtle yet quirky Monochrome Wool and Silk is a perennial favourite at Fabworks and has many uses – why not try something different like a shawl or poncho-type garment? You can also use this for an unlined cardigan style garment, such as waterfall fronted, long-line waistcoats or bohemian style wraps (fasten with a brooch)!
