Designed by talented Interior Designer Annabel Elliot in collaboration with the Liberty Design Team, 'Ombrellino' Tana Lawn is from the Gallery of Prints collection by Liberty Art Fabrics.
Designed to represent the liberty furnishing fabric department, this archival print hails from the 1920s. The 'Ombrellino' fabric design is named after a house called L'Ombrellino that Annabel's family used to own overlooking Florence; its beautiful flowing elegant tree design evoking memories of Italy and reminiscent of the end of summer holidays.
With all the usual qualities of Tana Lawn; soft, smooth and almost silky yet strong cool comfortable cotton with a soft drapey handle. Crisp enough for skirts and patch working, Ombrellino's cream background is accented with soft rose pink, aqua blue, golden yellow and burnt orange.
Think pretty shirts and blouses, summer dresses and skirts, children's dresses, matching romper and knickers sets, summer tops and tunics, shorts and playsuits. Also perfect for lining waistcoats or jackets to create a quirky and bespoke touch.
