The superbly textured Persian Blue Hopsack cotton has a lovely, reassuringly soft and natural weighty feel, draping beautifully. Due to cotton's excellent properties of absorption, all four colours have amazing depth and intensity! Our Persian Blue weave boasts a vibrant cobalt blue, excellent for adding a pop of colour to winter wardrobes or equally stunning used in seaside or coastal-themed interiors.

The textured yarn used to make these first-rate fabrics has a superb crimped quality, with thicker and thinner areas that create an almost bouclé-like effect. The fabric boasts a stable width and lengthwise handle as well as some ease across the bias, due to its open weave. When presented to the light you can fully appreciate the excellent textural quality of the open weave. Garment makers may choose to use stabilisers and/or interfacings and linings when using fabrics from this striking collection.

Chanel-style jackets will look excellent made up in this wonderfully woven cotton. Why not add a contrasting or a coordinating velvet trim and add frayed-edge details for a truly Chanel style?

Woven in Ireland at Foxford's Mill, these stunning fabrics will look amazing when used for colourful home furnishing accents. Use for sofa and bed throws, and also take advantage of the frayed selvedges and fray either of the cut edges for a relaxed style.
