Introduction:

Mediumweight Sweater Knit - Fuzzy Black Eyelash is finely knitted sweater-type fabric is cleverly knitted from a combination of lustrous almost shimmering black eyelash yarn and fuzzy boucle yarn. The combination of the two, creates an interesting texture and visual depth.  When held to the light the fine mesh-like base can be clearly seen.

Properties:

This textural wonder has a truly soft elastic drape, perfect for slouchy, unstructured throw-on pieces. With an up to date punk style vibe reminiscent of the mohair jumpers of the late '70s and early '80s, perfect for teaming with tartans for 'Vivienne Westwood' style. However, you interpret Fuzzy Black Eyelash, you are sure to have a cosy and shimmering creation.

Garment Suggestions:

Fuzzy Black Eyelash fabric is perfect for making slash-necked, loose-fitting sweaters and tops. Think oversized fisherman's smock style! Dolman sleeved tops and sweaters would also look great in this sparkling fabric. This stunning fabric is also great for cardigans as well as loose wraps and throws. You can even use this stunner for lightweight comforting bed throws!

Alternatively, use as a fake black fur replacement for Cosplay and costumes (we think this is ideal for G.O.T.'s Jon Snow costume).

Exactly as expected!

As described, quite stretchy, may need to be lined with something else if you're looking for full coverage against the light. I really like it, it will replace a much heavier fabric in a costume I have had for years.
