Drop Anchor Plaid; is a superb medium weight 100% all wool twill. Drop Anchor Plaid with its dreamy, deep sea blue-green palette reminds us of fishing boats dropping anchor atop choppy deep seas, where the sea has a rich blue green intensity and is streaked by silky green sea weed. The rich green and blue tones in this first rate wool are woven into a striking plaid design which is complimented by black overchecks with blood red outlines like the dark red sea anemones you find in the rock pools when the tide is out. These dark tones add drama and depth to this superb wool plaid. Drop Anchor Plaid has so many redeeming features. Use the accent colours to coordinate with plain fabrics, this will make simply stunning garments you can team with classic white shirts and will draw attention to the fine white check within this handsome fabric.
