Donegal Dream Herringbone - Yorkshire Tweed is a gorgeous all wool tweed. Manufactured in Huddersfield undergoing the same processes as our exclusive Heart of Huddersfield range. This fabric a not one of Fabworks' own exclusive designs.
Woven from a delightful blend of multi tonal yarns, this subtle yet delightfully uplifting combination has a predominantly earthy, brown/green tone. A beautiful multi tonal warp yarn with moss and lichen greens forms the base and the earthy yarn which forms the weft has a warmth and richness, with jewel like pops of donegal flecks creating a subtle contrast between the chevrons of the herringbone weave.
The addition of the pretty multi coloured Donegal flecks elevates this delightful fabric creating further points of interest,like tiny spring flowers peeping through the forest floor. If you love muted natural tones but want to experiment with subtle pops of colour this fabric is ideal.
