This finely knitted polyester fabric has a smooth reverse, sturdy close-knit base and softly brushed fleece-like face side.
Fabrics of this weight and construction are commonly used as cosy lining fabrics for winter coats, hats, scarves etc. They are an ideal accompaniment to traditional wool tweed fabrics like our Heart of Huddersfield and Yorkshire Tweeds.
Charcoal Black - Fleece Lining has a silky sheen to the finely knitted reverse and true black hue. The face side has a finely compacted fleece finish of a charcoal hue. The fabric is stable with a slight stretch across the width allowing for movement.
This cosy fabric will add a comforting layer to your winter garments whether they are traditional wool tweed to hi-tech showerproof nylons, or hardwearing denim, (drills and twills) utility-style fabrics.
