Celestial is a superb, finely woven, high thread count, 100% cotton jacquard shirting fabric. Woven with stunning pink salmon warp threads and superfine natural coloured weft, which produce a subtle sheen and two-tone, almost akin to a chambray. This gentle and pleasing shade of pale nude tone has beautiful peachy pink undertones and plays the perfect host to the celestial planets, moons and stars which are woven expertly throughout (appearing in a lighter shade and with a silky twill weave). The opposite effect is apparent on the reverse of the fabric.
This first rate fabric has a beautiful, soft, almost silky, cool cotton feel with a lightweight soft drapey handle. The weight is light but not at all thin or flimsy, definitely more like a soft quality chambray - soft strong and hard wearing!
