Blue Spruce Herringbone - Yorkshire Tweed is a gorgeous all wool tweed. Manufactured in Huddersfield undergoing the same processes as our exclusive Heart of Huddersfield range. This fabric is not one of Fabworks' own exclusive designs.
Woven from a delightful blend of multi tonal yarns, this fabric is full of superb frosty, grey-green tones, quite Loden green, like the coniferous tree it takes its name from.
A beautiful multi tonal warp yarn of dark charcoal grey sits alongside a superb peat brown yarn to form the base. Stunning lichen green with frosty grey tones forms the weft, creating a very subtle contrast between the chevrons of the herringbone weave. The end result producing the look of Blue Spruce branches covered in tiny feathery, fronds of pine needles, touched by frost.
