After The Storm - Ocean Blue is a versatile slubby, fine woven suiting fabric, made from a hard-wearing mixture of cotton and nylon superfine bouclé yarns which produce an interesting textural detail to this strong and stable fabric. This excellent fabric also boasts a soft, medium-weight drape too and slight bias stretch.
The clever yarn combination of navy (giving a dark depth to the background) and the bouclé yarn in teal, produces this stunning ocean blue. Teal coloured fabrics are extremely popular, their jewel tones work perfectly with other jewel colours and peacock feather tones. Purples, lapis blues, copper, gold, mustard, chocolate and burnt oranges all work particularly well with teal, and of course classic black.
Go ahead and fashion yourself fabulously smart and versatile pieces of clothing such as jackets and trousers. After The Storm - Ocean Blue will look excellent for slim-fit suits with sharp silhouettes.
Neat skirts, pencil, tulip, wrap and pleated will all look superb in After The Storm - Ocean Blue. You'll find it’s also perfect for fitted sheath dresses and wiggle or pencil dresses. Imagine striking a '50s silhouette with figure-hugging lines and full-fan pleated details to the back.
