Sloe Gin - Yorkshire Herringbone is a gorgeous lambs wool and cashmere blend fine fabric. Manufactured in Huddersfield undergoing the same processes as our exclusive Heart of Huddersfield range. This fabric is not one of Fabworks' own exclusive designs.
Woven with lighter weight, fine super soft yarns, this herringbone fabric is full of rich tones, inspired by the warming tipple, made from foraged berries collected in early autumn.
A fine, closely packed warp in darkest black sets the scene for the ravishing deep pink which sits on the weft. The two colours compliment each other perfectly and produce a rich and fruity palette which showcases the fine herringbone weave and has produced an exquisite fabric. The colours are like the richly-infused jewel tones produced by warming syrupy sloe gin sitting in its glass decanter. Sloe Gin has a smart chic style that is perfect for warming your heart and your body on those cool A/W days.
This first rate wool and cashmere Yorkshire Herringbone is absolutely delicious. Sloe Gin is a closely woven, soft natural fibre fabric. It has a versatile medium-light weight and a soft cashmere touch that boasts a subtle sheen and stable handle that drapes reassuringly with the promise of cosy warmth.
