Breath of Fresh Air - Grey Herringbone is an all wool herringbone fabric from the Valley Mist collection, one of our very special Heart of Huddersfield wools.
Spun from a blend of the finest wool fibres, this subtle combination has a predominantly pale minty grey tone. A beautiful pale marled grey warp yarn forms the base for the fresh multi tonal grey-green yarn which forms the weft. The combination of the two yarns creates a subtle contrast showcasing the classic chevrons of the herringbone weave perfectly.
The Valley Mist collection draws inspiration from the constantly changing weather of the Holme Valley landscape and its surroundings and the colours that we associate with. Breath of Fresh Air - Grey Herringbone is just as its name suggests, a light, fresh and stunning wool tweed. If you love its cool misty tones, you’ll love the other fabrics in the Valley Mist collection, the shades complement each other perfectly and they’ll mix and match with other fabrics from the Heart of Huddersfield range.

Did you know that there are two different coloured warps within the twelve Herringbone fabrics? There are six herringbones with a soft marled pale grey warp, which combine with the coloured weft yarns to make these six gorgeous soft pastels tones. The other warp is a rich deep marled teal which combines with the coloured weft yarns to make these striking rich warming tones. Breath of Fresh Air is one of the six soft pastel herringbones.
