The Pattern:
The Cocoon Jacket hangs off the shoulders in a relaxed, oversize fit. It bubbles out, coming in again just under the bum, enveloping you in a cosy cocoon of warmth, hence the name. It has 3/4 length sleeves with oversize cuffs which can be made in a contrasting texture or colour, notches at the neckline and deep easy pockets. The front panels only are lined.
Suggested Fabrics:
Body - Medium/Heavy Weight Wool, Heavy Cotton, Denim, Felt and Heavy Knits
Lining - Most medium weight fabrics
Fabric Quantities:
Fabric 150cm / 60” WIDE = 2.5m required
Fabric 112cm / 45” WIDE = 3.25m required
