Hearthside Tipple - Teal Herringbone is an all wool herringbone fabric from the Summer Wine collection, one of our very special Heart of Huddersfield wools.
Spun from a blend of the finest wool fibres, the colour of a warm evening tipple. Alternating black and dark teal warp yarns forms the base, with a rich dark rusty weft yarn. This combination of yarns creates a subtle marled effect to the chevrons, that reminds us of sitting with a crystal tumbler, cosy and warm by the fireplace on a cold winter night.
Hearthside Tipple – Teal Herringbone epitomises the rich multi tonal hues of nature, look closely and you will find hints of aromatic spruce green and cedarwood tones within this beautifully soft yet striking palette. Get up close and personal with this fabric to really appreciate the melange of colours.

Did you know that there are two different coloured warps within the twelve Herringbone fabrics? There are six herringbones with a soft marled pale grey warp, which combine with the coloured weft yarns to make these six gorgeous soft pastels tones. The other warp is a rich deep marled teal with hints of black that combines with the coloured weft yarns to make these striking rich and warming tones. Hearthside Tipple is one of the six rich and warming herringbones.
