Honesty silk crinkle chiffon is a beautiful feather light sheer fabric, with a pale biscuit coloured background then printed with honesty flowers in coral and seed pods in taupe.
This delicate fabric with its pretty small floral design has a very lightweight sheer and drapey handle with slight give width wise.
Silk crinkle chiffons are best suited to styles with lots of gathered and fullness, or for layering over plain fabrics. Why not make a stunning feminine blouse with gathered back and front yoke with puffed sleeves or a gypsy style full sleeved top. Layer over a silky jersey to make a feminine maxi dress or stunning summer tea dress. Perfect for summer try floaty beach cover ups, kaftans, sarongs and headscarves.
For a modern take on a traditional fabric, make a superb coral and beige raglan sleeved sweatshirt; coral on the sleeves with beige on the front and back. Place a layer of Honesty silk crinkle chiffon over the front pieces for a casual dressy look!
