There's a stunning smooth silky finish to this medium weight duchess satin. Blue Topaz is a cut above regular satins (which are often high on gloss and low on substance). It's high cotton and acetate content give this fabric a sumptuous drape and handle. It is stable width wise and lengthwise making it perfect for figure-flattering drama!
Blue Topaz is a mid navy tone with rich teal undertones that is simply mesmerising, its lustrous sheen is reminiscent of the precious stone of its namesake. The perfect choice for garments which require some structure plus an element of drape, such as wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses and sophisticated evening gowns.
Its high thread count means this special fabric has the stability necessary to support intricate embroidery and beading. Use this fabric to create a beautiful full skirt which will hold its full curves.
