This superb fine wool suiting evokes images of smart gentlemen sitting in colonial style Rattan chairs, gazing out on sun baked terraces. The complex hopsack weave has great texture (like finely woven Rattan) and wonderful natural colour palette like dried grasses. A fine windowpane over check enhances the light and breezy style to this classic tropical wool suiting fabric. Boasting a truly elegant drape quality (akin to a fine wool dress crepe) this fab hopsack style is perfect for sophisticated gents and lady’s attire, with crease resistant properties due to its complex light and airy weave and 100% wool composition!
If suit making isn't your forte, fear not! Put this superb fabric to use for less formal, but equally smart outfits, such as shirts, tunics, pinafore dresses and skirts too. The Merchant & Mills 'Shirt Dress' and 'Trapeze Dress' will look stunning in this fabric. There's also a simple drawstring-waist trouser pattern too (The 101 Trouser') that will work perfectly with Easy Breezy - Tropical Wool Suiting.
Other suggested uses are simple unlined jackets and coats/coatigans. There are many other patterns suitable for Easy Breezy, think clean simple lines and unfussy cuts. The Makers Atelier has a plethora of patterns that would work brilliantly.

Moisture Absorbing: The moisture-retentive superpowers of wool! It’s hydrophilic core gives wool the ability to wick away moisture keeping you dry and comfortable – this possibly one of our favourite properties because you can stay fresh when wearing wool, from autumn right through to spring!
