Rich copper tones are the mainstay of the superb District Check, named after Mr Fox himself! The pattern is a traditional Prince of Wales type checked woven design with a windowpane overcheck. There are soft beige and brown undertones woven throughout this classic fabric and a taupe/grey parallel line detail that adds extra interest and scope for matching with other softer tones - perfect for both clothing and interiors.
Soft but a strong and stable with a medium/heavy weight handle, the District Check is excellent for more structured garments, try waistcoats, jackets, pencil/mini skirts and kilts, pinafore and skater style dresses. Add matching accessories, such as hats, wrist and neck warmers and scarves! The ideal clothing weight fabric that's breathable and a good insulator. Keep out the winter chill!
Soft furnishings for the home too perhaps? Take care with the checked pattern, however ideal for blinds, as well seat covers, throws, pet beds and dog coats (soft and snuggly as a lining).
