Cotton & Polyester Blend - Mojito Houndstooth Basket Weave is a beautifully soft and textured basket weave style medium weight cotton blend fabric. Woven in Italy from a clever blend of fibres to produce a fabric that is both comfortable and practical. Mojito Houndstooth has the freshest colour palette with sophisticated cool cucumber and mint green woven alongside uplifting natural white.
There's a certain '60s Chanel style about this first rate fabric. Garments made in this stunner will make you walk with your head held high and a spring in your step!
Mojito Houndstooth boasts good stability width and lengthwise, plus gentle ease across the bias which provides an excellent soft and sumptuous drape that feels wonderful. The face side of the fabric has a relatively loose weave construction which is needed to obtain the basket weave style of the houndstooth, the fabric obtains its stability from a closely woven, fine base layer.
Emphasise the '60s style of this first rate fabric by constructing neat Chanel style suits, A-line dresses, double breasted coat dresses, spring and summer coats and jackets. If '60s vintage style clothing isn't for you then simply extend the hemlines and you immediately enter a different era in style, '80 & '90s styles can easily be achieved by a few simple tweaks.
